OFF SNOW REVIEW:
FIRST LOOK:
Let me say that this helmet has a strange shape to it. This has the kind of
shape only a helmet manufacturer could love. It takes some getting used to.
COMFORT: 4 - Padding is all in the right places. It feels comfortable
and light weight.
FIT: 3 - It fits my round type head all right on top, but I 'm having
problems keeping the ear pieces in place. Seems like the tabs that hold the
earflaps to the liner keep coming out.
STYLE: 3 - This a plain looking helmet, plain and simple. It's got that
bowling ball shape on top, and the no graphic look to it. Some people will be
ok with that.
FEATURES: 3 - It does have some vent holes along the top, but they're
rather small and are not able to be closed. The liner has the usual vented material
along sides and top. I'm still having trouble with the earflap retention. Maybe
it's just me.
CONCERNS: I give this category a one. I really think the earflaps need
to be redesigned. That was my one concern I just couldn't get past.
COLOR: The color of this particular helmet, a flat blue, fits the overall
first impression. Nothing flashy about this one.
OVERALL THOUGHTS: 3 - It is a basic helmet, in a basic color, with no
extras.
