Additional Comments: This is the same as the adult version that people have been loving for years now available in fun youthful colors.
This helmet is compatable with the tune ups so the kids can listen to their favorite tunes, or when it comes out plug in the talk about radio attachment so mom and dad can find them on that powder day. |

| Giro Nine.9 Junior 2005 Manufacturer Description |

The Nine.9 Junior offers all of the benefits of the adult
model, including light weight, great ventilation and a super comfortable fit.
But this one belongs to the kids.
Features:
- EPS Liners: Thousands of tests prove that EPS
offers the most consistent performance in a wide range of conditions and that
gram for gram it absorbs more impact energy than other liner materials. Plus
it's incredibly light. No other material brings all of these benefits together.
- In-Mold Construction: In-mold construction fuses
a tough polycarbonate outer shell with the helmet's impact-absorbing foam
liner for extra durability without excess weight. The fusion of shell and
liner also allows Giro to sculpt better ventilation systems, so In-mold helmets
can be lighter and cooler than traditional helmets.
- Super Cool: 12 Vents move cool, fresh air through
the helmet while radiating heat and stale air out. By maximizing efficiency
and optimizing vent shapes, the collective cooling power of Super Cool vents
helps to regulate your core temperature and keep you feeling fresh all day.
- Sizing: 4 Youth sizes
- Weatherstrip: Weatherstrip vent plugs are simple,
lightweight and highly effective for regulating your temperature when you're
riding. Just snap a set in to the helmet for a tight seal against the chill,
or remove them to let excess heat radiate out.
- Removable Earpads: Removable earpads allow you
to adapt your helmet to changes in the weather and riding conditions. They're
a snap to install or remove, they lock into the helmet securely and they offer
extra warmth whenever you want it - without restricting your hearing.
- Goggle Notch: A channel in Giro helmets that
is designed for hassle free positioning of your goggles and a snug, gapless
fit with the helmet. It also works in tandem with a security loop at the back
of the helmet to keep your goggles with you in the event of a fall.
- Safety Certification: ASTM F2040 Safety certified.
