Info About Venting: |
These vents work great 2 up front to push the airflow in and 2 in the back for exit and the rest up top to let the heat out. These are all controlled by a glove friendly slider. |

Additional Comments: This is by far the most comfortable helmet I have tried on. Giro has taken alot from its motor sports division to come up with this level of comfort.
The visor on this helmet is a great feature for a little extra sun protection, also you can add the audio package so you can listen to your tunes and use your cell phone.
Coming soon will be a hook up instead of your cell phone it will work with Talk about radios. |

| Giro G10 MX 2005 Manufacturer Description |

The G10 MX is rooted in the new, wide-open freestyle. But
it's equipped with a removable visor for ripping the park or big backcountry
lines and trees.
Features:
- EPS Liners: Thousands of tests prove that EPS
offers the most consistent performance in a wide range of conditions and that
gram for gram it absorbs more impact energy than other liner materials. Plus
it's incredibly light. No other material brings all of these benefits together.
- In-Mold Construction: In-mold construction fuses
a tough polycarbonate outer shell with the helmet's impact-absorbing foam
liner for extra durability without excess weight. The fusion of shell and
liner also allows Giro to sculpt better ventilation systems, so In-mold helmets
can be lighter and cooler than traditional helmets.
- Super Fit: Super Fit is the unique bland of science
and art behind Giro helmets' reputation for great fit, feel and looks. That's
because Giro helmets fit up to 98% of the human population while also being
scaled to match the proportions of the human body.
- Thermostat: Thermostat ventilation control allows
you to custom tune airflow instantly with a simple, low-profile control button
on the outside of the helmet. No other system is faster or easier to adjust,
and nothing is more effective at keeping you fresh.
- Removable Earpads: Removable earpads allow you
to adapt your helmet to changes in the weather and riding conditions. They're
a snap to install or remove, they lock into the helmet securely and they offer
extra warmth whenever you want it - without restricting your hearing.
- Goggle Notch: A channel in Giro helmets that
is designed for hassle free positioning of your goggles and a snug, gapless
fit with the helmet. It also works in tandem with a security loop at the back
of the helmet to keep your goggles with you in the event of a fall.
- Removable visor
- Audio Compatible: Will accept both the TuneUps I and TuneUps II Audio
Earpads. SOLD SEPARATELY!
- Safety Certification: ASTM F2040 Safety certified.
