Protec Descent Pro Model 2005 Manufacturer Description

The Descent is one tricked-out helmet! This baby offers Audio and cell phone capability, top-end ventilation capability and RECCO rescue reflectors. This year the Todd Richards Pro Model Descent helmet comes pre-equipped with Audio Force Relay earpads! All of the other colors are Audio Force Relay compatible, but the upgraded earpads must be bought as an accessory.

Features:

  • SHELL: In-mold micro shell
  • Liner: EPS impact liner
  • VENTILATION: Most helmet ventilation relies on open venting to allow cool air to flow into the helmet interior, while the Bernoulli venting system draws the heated air out of the interior. The Bernoulli venting system is activated as airflow passes over the helmet. As air passes over the helmet, each vent experiences a drop in pressure. This difference in pressure causes the interior heated air to be drawn out of the helmet and travel with the exterior air flow.
  • INTERIOR: Removable & washable interior
  • EAR PADS: Detachable ear flaps w/ attached drop liner
  • FIT: 4 sizes / 2 shell breaks
  • CERTIFICATION: CE EN 1077 or ASTM 2040
  • RECCO.: Advanced radar technology to allow for the quick location of an avalanche victim or lost snowboarder. RECCO comes standard in PRO-TECs Descent & Stealth snow helmets.
  • Audio Force Relay Compatible: "Audio Force Relay" ear pads, offer all the features of the original "Audio Force" ear pads, plus additional RELAY technology. RELAY technology allows you to plug in your audio player and cell phone at the same time. You can listen to music then take a call when it comes in or call out to friends. RELAY technology features a Y-split audio cord, an inline volume control with built-in microphone for hands free phone use, and multiple audio jacks to fit most cell phones.
