  Protec B2 2005 Manufacturer Description

The ProTec B2 continues to show the way when it comes to value in a snowboard helmet. With cutting edge design and technology features, and a price tag that's probably about half of what you would expect, the B2 definitely falls into the "best buy" category. This year the Scotty Arnold Pro Model B2 comes pre-equipped with Audio Force earpads! All of the other colors are Audio Force compatible, but the audio earpads must be bought as an accessory.

Features:

  • SHELL: High density injection molded ABS
  • SXP Multiple Impact Liner: When conventional helmets take a hard hit, the foam liner compresses and stays compressed, losing most of its impact absorbing properties. Due to the advanced chemical structure and sophisticated processes used to create SXP helmet liners, Pro-Tec pushes beyond the norm by offering multiple impact protection that far exceeds the competition.
  • VENTILATION: 15 Screened vents
  • INTERIOR: Removable & washable interior fit pads
  • EAR PADS: Detachable ear flaps w/ attached drop liner
  • FIT: 4 sizes / 4 shell breaks
  • CERTIFICATION: CE EN 1077 or ASTM 2040
  • Audio Force Compatible: Listen to your favorite music on the hill without having to use headphones. ProTec"Audio Force" ear pads easily replace standard ear pads on our B2 and Mercenary snow helmets. The cord plugs into any portable audio player with in line volume control and mute options. "Audio Force" ear pads come standard in our signature model B2 and Mercenary snow helmets with the option to update the standard model ear pads.
