Additional Comments: Giro took their world cup proven Streif, replaced the shell with plastic instead of carbon fiber and called it the Sestriere. So it has the same aerodynamics but a bit heavier. |

| Giro Sestriere 2005 Manufacturer Description |

The best things in life are simple. Like an empty dirt lot
and rear wheel drive, or good barbecue and friends. How about the all-new Sestriere
and a season pass! Featuring sleek, race-inspired styling with a wide angle
cut for great peripheral vision and a snug fit with goggles.
Features:
- EPS Liners: Thousands of tests prove that EPS
offers the most consistent performance in a wide range of conditions and that
gram for gram it absorbs more impact energy than other liner materials. Plus
it's incredibly light. No other material brings all of these benefits together.
- Shell: High-impact ABS shell
- Super Fit: Super Fit is the unique bland of science
and art behind Giro helmets' reputation for great fit, feel and looks. That's
because Giro helmets fit up to 98% of the human population while also being
scaled to match the proportions of the human body.
- Ventilation: None.
- Earpads: Full-coverage hardshell with plush fleece
padding.
- Goggle Notch: A channel in Giro helmets that
is designed for hassle free positioning of your goggles and a snug, gapless
fit with the helmet. It also works in tandem with a security loop at the back
of the helmet to keep your goggles with you in the event of a fall.
- Chin bar compatible
- Safety Certification: CE EN1077 Safety certified.
